Let us know how we can help!
The Buckeye Birth Coalition was formed to achieve the mission of increasing access to midwifery care for mothers and babies across the state of Ohio. We have been working at a grassroots level ever since, changing the legislation and building a network of providers to make it easier for mothers and their babies to get the care they need and deserve through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
FAQs
How do my monetary contributions help create safer birth options in Ohio?
Financial contributions made to Buckeye Birth Coalition support legislative and lobbying efforts to create laws that will ensure midwives are properly licensed in Ohio, freestanding birth centers are supported, and mothers and newborns have appropriate access to midwifery care before, during, and after birth.
Are my donations tax deductible?
Due to Buckeye Birth Coalition’s status as a 501(c)4 non-profit organization, donations and membership dues are not tax deductible as a charitable contribution or as a business expense under IRC Section 162(e). Your contribution will not be earmarked for any purpose, and will generally support our work to increase birth options, access to midwives, and to make Ohio a safer place to have a baby.
I’m a parent, what is the best way I can participate in BBC?
